Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026 · Governing law: England & Wales
1. Acceptance
By accessing or using FineBeater — whether to run a free scan or buy credits to generate appeal packs — you agree to these Terms of Service in full. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Who we are
FineBeater is operated by MD PORTRAITS & EVENTS LTD (Company No. 15832934), a company registered in England & Wales. These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes arising from your use of FineBeater will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
3. What FineBeater is — and what it isn't
Specifically:
- FineBeater is not a law firm and is not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority or any other legal regulator.
- We do not represent you in any legal proceedings, negotiations, or formal hearings.
- We do not provide regulated legal advice.
- We do not generate court defences, witness statements, or documents intended for use in contested county court proceedings.
- No outcome is guaranteed. The strength of an appeal depends on facts we may not have full visibility of, the conduct of the operator or authority, and tribunal discretion.
4. Court-stage exclusion
If FineBeater detects court-stage indicators in your notice or case details, the checkout will be blocked. If you believe this is an error, contact support@finebeater.win.
5. Your account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials.
- One account per person. Sharing your account with others is prohibited.
- You must be at least 18 years old to use FineBeater.
- You must provide accurate information when registering.
6. Pricing and payment
FineBeater is sold as credits. One credit generates one appeal pack for one case. Credits are bought in bundles; the per-credit price is shown in GBP at the point of purchase on the credits page. There are no subscriptions and no recurring charges.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. By providing payment details, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. We never store your card number or bank details.
7. All sales final
All sales are final. We do not offer refunds as a matter of course. Once a credit has been spent to generate a pack, it is consumed and cannot be returned. Unused credits sitting in your account are also non-refundable, but they do not expire — you keep them indefinitely.
In genuinely exceptional circumstances — for example, a technical failure where a credit was charged but no pack was delivered — you may write to support@finebeater.win to request a review. Any refund remains entirely at our discretion and is not a right you are entitled to rely upon.
We do not accept liability for chargeback disputes filed with Stripe or your card issuer without first contacting us. If a chargeback is filed, we may suspend your account while the dispute is resolved, and may provide Stripe with evidence of service delivery.
8. Credits
- One credit generates one appeal pack for one case. Regenerating the same pack type for the same case does not cost an additional credit.
- Upgrading a case to a different pack type (e.g. Initial Appeal → Tribunal Prep) consumes a separate credit because it is a different pack.
- Credits never expire and there is no auto-renewal. You will not be charged again automatically.
- Per-credit pricing depends on the bundle size you buy; larger bundles have a lower per-credit price.
- There is nothing to cancel. If you do not want to buy more credits, simply don't.
- Credits are tied to the account that purchased them and cannot be transferred between accounts.
9. Acceptable use
You must not use FineBeater to:
- Upload a fine notice that does not belong to you or your vehicle without the permission of the registered keeper.
- Evade legitimate parking enforcement — FineBeater is for genuine challenges to procedurally defective or unlawful charges, not for obstructing lawful enforcement.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or reproduce the FineBeater system, its prompts, or its output at scale.
- Resell or redistribute generated appeal letters as a template service to third parties.
- Attempt to circumvent the court-stage payment block.
10. Your content
You own everything you upload to FineBeater — your fine notice images, case notes, and uploaded documents remain yours.
By uploading content, you grant MD PORTRAITS & EVENTS LTD a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the FineBeater service to you. We may also use anonymised, aggregated data derived from your case (operator name, location, outcome if reported — never personal identifiers) for hotspot analytics and service improvement, as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Outcome reporting
If you voluntarily report the outcome of your appeal through the FineBeater interface, you agree to do so honestly. Deliberately submitting false outcome data — for example, reporting a win when you did not appeal — may result in account suspension.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- Our total liability to you in connection with FineBeater, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, is capped at the total fees paid by you to FineBeater in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses, including lost income, lost savings, reputational damage, or costs incurred as a result of relying on our output.
- Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other matter that cannot be excluded by law.
Your statutory consumer rights under UK law are not affected by these terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or if we reasonably believe your use is fraudulent or abusive. We will endeavour to give you notice unless doing so is impracticable or would be harmful.
To close your account voluntarily, email support@finebeater.win. We will process account deletions within 30 days and confirm by email.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of FineBeater after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
16. Contact
For any questions about these terms, email support@finebeater.win.
